Terms of service

1. GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

When purchasing items from us, please ensure to check your order. If special instructions or additional requests have not been noted, i.e. the removal of old furniture, please bring this to the attention of our staff.

Goods must be paid for in full before delivery can be arranged, and goods remain the property of O'Briens until paid for in full and either collected or delivered to the customer. 

Your order is an offer to buy from us. Nothing said or done shall be construed as acceptance of an order until goods have been dispatched from the store. Where goods that have been purchases are no longer available from our suppliers, we will offer alternatives and retain the right to cancel all or part of an order in such a situation.

2. DELIVERY
Please note we do not accept responsibility for any damage whatsoever caused to your premises or possessions within. On the day of delivery, please ensure that the delivery team can gain easy access to the room that the furniture is going into. Please make sure that the area you want the furniture placed is cleared. Please consider whether there is adequate access to your property for the item being delivered. A re-stocking charge of 25% of the item’s value will apply where adequate access is not available when goods are delivered and a credit note will then be issued for the outstanding value.

A delivery date will be confirmed once the final payment has been received. If the item is not in stock on the date of purchase we will provide you with an approximate lead time for the arrival of your order to our warehouse. Once the goods arrive at our warehouse you will receive notification and upon payment of any outstanding balance a delivery date will be scheduled for you. We are dependent on the advice of our suppliers when quoting lead times to you but where there is any undue delay in receiving your order, our staff will advise you of this. If our driver cannot make contact with you on the date of the delivery on the number provided to us or fails to gain access to your delivery address on the date of delivery then your delivery will be re-scheduled for the next available delivery day in your area.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website.

We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products or services to any person or area. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
